Hunting Minds – beautiful results

Pertec consulting – a leap from knowing to doing

Pentti Sydänmaanlakka is one of the most influential leadership consultants in Finland. His work on intelligent self-leadership centers around the principle that all great leadership begins with the self. Several thousand people have taken part in self-leadership seminars led by Pertec consultants and the clear framework has helped many individuals create positive changes in their lives.

CareerStorm and Pertec created a vision of an online tool that would make the great ideas and tools tested in practice available to a wider audience. Thus, wISL, web-based Intelligent Self-Leadership was designed. The tool helps employees set and reach their most important personal, team and company objectives.

HRM Partners

HRM Partners wanted to support their coaching services with the help of an interactive online writeboard, where coaches and coachees could record the objectives and results of the coaching process.

CareerStorm designed according to HRM Partners' specifications a platform that supported all the different steps of the coaching process. One key benefit achieved is that sensitive information is treated securely on the web and no longer sent via email.

Career Innovation

Career Innovation study in 1999 concluded that Generation X employees are committed to developing their own career rather than staying loyal to any particular employer. This helped explain why many companies were struggling with retention.

CareerStorm was invited to help create a resource that would address this challenge of retention. As a result during a 6-month period we designed the "Online Career Coach". Also called the "CiZone" this resource encourages open discussion about career objectives and opportunities in organizations.

Monster

When Monster was in it's rapid growth phase at the turn of the millenium, the company was already dedicated to providing holistic career support for people throughout their life-span. CareerStorm tools with holistic view on career and life fit their strategy perfectly.

Together we coordinated the translation of our career tools to 9 languages. The process was dynamic because the tools were ready and tested to employ immediately in 15 different Monster country sites. User feedback from over 80 countries confirmed that these tools gave added value to people across diffent cultural backgrounds. For Monster this gave an advantage against competitors in the race to become the world's number one online recruitment company.
